      So\, are you ready to have fun and help out a great cause?  Then get ready\, get set\, and sign up for the most AMAZING RACE of your life!  Many of you have seen the “Amazing Race” or “Treasure Hunter” reality TV shows and have wondered how you would fare in your own race.  Now here is your chance to race in your own adventure! Those of you who participated last year\, get ready for an all new adventure!
      
      The 2nd Annual Amazing Race goes beyond simply solving the clues\; it is also a test of strategy.  Successful teams must carefully plot the most efficient route after they gather pertinent information.  The first team to cross the finish line doesn’t necessarily guarantee a win.  Geographical logistics\, time constraints\, checkpoint challenges\, detours and roadblocks are all important factors that are considered in the race to the finish line.
      
      Similar to the television show\, your team will be challenged to reach each checkpoint and conquer challenges\, detours and roadblocks along the way.  You may choose to buddy up with a bike taxi to collect your next clue or you may have to eat a delicacy from a foreign country.  How about kayaking down the Platte River?  Mental challenges?  Strategy challenges?  Who knows?   We’re not telling\, there’s only one way for you to find out!  
      
      We welcome teams of 2-4 participants including corporate and cancer fundraising teams\, families and friends\, etc Individuals may register and can be joined with other participants to form a team of 2-4. Teams are scored based on 4 participants. Teams that have less than 4 will have a time delay penalty.
      
      Great Prizes! The top 3 teams receive a prize packages worth over $5\,000 including Downtown Night on the town with hotel stay\, Dinner and event tickets\, comedy works and many other gifts from other local venues! All Race participants have a chance to win prizes along the course from Airlines tickets to Chipotle\, Kayak\, Camping gear\, Jamba Juice\, Spa massages and much more! Everyone can be a winner in the Most Amazing Race for Life!
      
      Fitness Level: No athletic requirement is needed.  Teams may run from checkpoint to checkpoint\, or they may run to catch a bus or beat another team to a pedicab but in general teams may go at their own pace. This is a game of strategy and the quickest brawniest teams will not necessarily be the winners!
