Muzikaal combineert het uit Toronto afkomstige Do May Say Think postrock met elementen uit jazz\, dub en elektronische effecten. Hierbij maken ze gebruik van blaasinstrumenten als trompet\, fluit en saxofoon. In tegenstelling tot de meeste andere postrockbands doet DMST niet aan plotse tempo- of volumewisselingen. Zelf omschrijven ze hun muziek dan ook liever als epic ambient. Tot nog toe verschenen van DMST vijf albums die allen de moeite meer dan waard zijn. Tijdens de enerverende optredens wordt het vijftal meestal vergezeld van een trompettist. The Happiness Project is het project van Do May Say Thinkbandlid Charles Spearin (bas\, gitaar\, trompet). Spearin voerde gedurende een jaar gesprekken met zijn buren over het thema geluk. Flarden van deze gesprekken voorzag hij van muziek: van uitbundige big band tot melancholische postrock. Ohad Benchetrit (gitaar\, basgitaar\, saxofoon\, fluit) is niet alleen een vaste DMST-kracht maar speelt ook bij Broken Social Scene. Als begenadigd studiotechnicus maakt hij op zijn titelloze solodebuutalbum weelderige instrumentale electronisch gemanipuleerde muziek. Hij sust de kinderen in slaap en zij worden beschermd door veertien engelen. Wanneer ze de volgende morgen gewekt worden door het Dauwmannetje\, zien ze een taart staan waarvan ze - hongerig als ze zijn - onmiddellijk beginnen te eten. Vooral de ouverture is bekend en wordt vaak als concertstuk gespeeld. Aanvankelijk bevatte het script een klein ballet\, dat door keizer Josef II verboden was. De directeur van het operagebouw scheurde de betreffende pagina's uit de partituur. Tijdens de generale repetitie werd dit gedeelte als een soort pantomime gebracht waarbij het orkest niet speelde. Figaro\, bekend als de barbier uit Il Barbiere di Siviglia\, is in dienst van graaf Almaviva. Voor zijn huwelijk met Susanna\, het kamermeisje van de gravin\, heeft Figaro toestemming nodig van de graaf. Deze heeft juist in een grootmoedige bui afstand gedaan van zijn ‘recht op de eerste nacht' met de bruiden van zijn personeel. De rokkenjager heeft daar echter al weer spijt van\, bekoord als hij is door de lieftalligheid van Susanna. De gravin en Susanna willen hem straffen voor zijn overspelige gedrag en er voor zorgen dat het grafelijk paar in liefde wordt herenigd. Cherubino\, het hulpje van graaf Almaviva\, dat zowel met Susanna als de gravin geflirt heeft\, wordt vervolgens door zijn baas het leger ingestuurd. Op de trouwdag van Figaro en Susanna speelt Susanna de graaf een briefje in handen: een uitnodiging voor een rendez-vous. Toch zal zij niet degene zijn die hij daar treft\, maar de als Susanna verklede gravin. Almaviva tuint er in\, leert zijn lesje\, smeekt zijn vrouw om vergeving en belooft haar eeuwige trouw...
