DESCRIPTION: [Full details at http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/4842948/ ] On Saturday\, November 14th\, 2009\, Chinese-French artist and author Chen Jiang Hong will honor us with his presence\, to give a lecture and painting demonstration. This event will be held at the Chinese Culture Center's gallery\, from 12:00 to 1:45pm. 
 About the artist: 
 Chen Jiang Hong is a painter\, illustrator and author. He was born in Tianjin\, China\, and grew up during the Cultural Revolution. He studied art in Beijing\, where he graduated from China's Central Academy of Fine Arts\, and Paris\, where he now resides and works as a freelance artist. Over the years\, Chen Jiang Hong as published a number of books\, all of which were acclaimed by critics worldwide. His books\, inspired by his childhood and Chinese legends\, have been published in several countries\, including the United States\, Spain\, Denmark\, Mexico and Korea. 
 Chen is also a painter\, and currently exhibits his artworks in a Japanese art gallery in Paris.
 This event is presented in collaboration with the Consulate General of France in San Francisco.
