 Expect a Startup Saturday every second Saturday of the month. Expect to spend three to four hours spread across at least two interactive sessions and networking.
 If you are an entrepreneur giving the demo\, expect this session to be very interactive. Expect a lot of "whys" and "why nots" - a great way to refine the product and to figure out the areas which need more work and also the areas that are well covered. If you're a participant\, expect a window into another business that can give you ideas about your own business or insights into how to design your product. Expect a lot of debate where your question to the speaker may actually get answered/countered by another participant! In short\, look out for a brain tickling discussion.
 We try to have one expert session. This is usually on a skill that is needed by an entrepreneur - sales\, marketing\, product management\, VC pitch\, VC management\, PR\, hiring people etc. It can even be a talk about a product/services that cannot be demoed. This is usually done by someone who has hands on experience and insights. Again expect this to be highly interactive.

 Alan designed and built the first prototype of the Aerobie ring with its spoiler rim that balances lift over a wide range of throwing speeds in early 1984. The first throw of the Aerobie ring on Roble Field at Stanford showed Alan he had something special. The ring flew straight and true for an incredible distance\, "as if sliding on an invisible sheet of ice." 
 Alan knew the Aerobie ring could be a hit. He also knew the flying performance of the Aerobie ring was going to be dependent on maintaining aerospace quality standards in the manufacturing processes. He therefore founded Superflight\, Inc. (now Aerobie\, Inc.) in 1984 to manufacture and sell his high performance sport toy inventions beginning with the Aerobie flying ring. For its first 20 years of existence\, Aerobie Inc. was officially named Superflight\, Inc. However\, in recognition of the fact that all of the products were named Aerobie and everybody knew the company as Aerobie\, as of 2005\, his company's name is officially Aerobie\, Inc.
  
 The company is still owned by Alan and he still works on inventing new\, exciting sport toys. He now manufactures thirteen Aerobie brand products and sells them through retailers throughout the United States and to distributors in over thirty countries. All Aerobie brand sport toys are known for their extraordinary performance and quality. His warehousing\, packing\, and shipping are all done in San Carlos\, California.

 I belong to the Power Networkers chapter of BNI.  We meet Thursdays at 11:30.  Each meeting we learn more about each others' businesses and we actively try to come up with referrals for each other.  In this way I have over 25 people supporting my business and actively keeping their eyes peeling for potential clients for my business.
 If you would like to tell us about your business and visit our chapter\, please come the next Thursday at 11:30.  We meet in the Interchange Tower (Metropointe) at 600 Hwy 169 S\, St. Louis Park\, MN.  Lunch is not provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
