The ride demonstrates the vulnerability of cyclists on the road and is a protest against oil dependency. Be there\, as bare as you dare! 2009 will see the fourth annual Brighton ride\, following its massive success last year\, when 400 people rode through the heart of the city. It will be a morning ride\, finishing around 1.30pm. Riders will also be able to join the London and other UK rides. The plan is to set off at around 11.30am\, cycle around Brighton & Hove city\, and finish at Black Rock naturist beach around 1-1.30pm for a sea swim and beach picnic. There will also be pre-ride body painting from 10am.
