 Vibhas Kendzia (www.vibhas.org) performs hauntingly beautiful original melodies on Native Flutes over Latin Rhythms\, smooth Jazz on the Soprano Saxophone and romantic Piano Solos at the Keyboard.
 Graced by rich melodies and sensual rhythms\, Vibhas music explores the essence of beauty and consciousness. Vibhas has toured the US\, Europe\, and India. His music has been described as “gentle\, blissful relaxation” and creates an atmosphere of peace and well-being.
 Vibhas grew up in West Germany and studied piano and flute from the age of five. While receiving a degree in music education from “Johann Wolfgang Goethe University” Frankfurt\, he had the privilege to study Flute with Rolf Bissinger\, flutist for the Frankfurt Opera Orchestra\, and Piano with Matitjahu Kellig\, well known for his Mozart interpretations. Studies in Latin percussion and traditional instruments from many countries were all influential in his creation of original world music\, melting genres from East to West.
 His work and personal curiosity brought him to India where he was introduced to meditation\, and to the beautiful classical sounds of the East Indian Bansuri\, or native bamboo flute. He met and studied with world famous flutist Pundit Hari Prasad Chaurasia. In 1997 Vibhas visited Sedona\, AZ where he met Prasado\, who became his wife and singing partner.
 It was here that he first heard the haunting sounds of the Navajo flute. Playing these traditional native flutes around the Southwest for the last ten years has brought him much praise from the local Native American population\, who are fascinated by his intimate feeling for this ancient instrument\, and the longing he expresses through it.

 Performing live at midnight in Club Six’s Dark Room is Zion I\, made up of emcee Baba Zumbi and producer / DJ Amp Live. Coming off of the Takeover tour and record release of the same name\, Zion I celebrates 10 years of music\, five LPs and numerous EPs\, engorging an ecstatic crowd with sounds simultaneously earthy and futuristic\, bombastic and esoteric. Electric hip-hop squad\, 40Love\, suburban rap queen K-Flay and beatbox virtuoso\, MC Radioactive add lyrical calisthenics and 808 beatdowns. Holding down the party rocking duties before and after Zion I’s sonic tempest are Distortion 2 Static DJs Haylow and Beatsme. 
 In Club Six’s upstairs White Room\, reggae-dancehall and culture riddims keep the dance floor sizzling with the bay area’s dancehall standout DJ\, Jah-Yzer of Sound Clash champs Jah-Warrior Shelter holding down the top spot on the 1s and 2s.  Vibhas grew up in West Germany and studied piano and flute from the age of five. While receiving a degree in music education from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt\, he had the privilege to study Flute with Rolf Bissinger\, flutist for the Frankfurt Opera Orchestra\, and Piano with Matitjahu Kellig\, well known for his Mozart interpretations. Studies in Latin percussion and traditional instruments from many countries were all influential in his creation of original world music\, melting genres from East to West.
 His work and personal curiosity brought him to India where he was introduced to meditation\, and to the beautiful classical sounds of the East Indian Bansuri\, or native bamboo flute. He met and studied with world famous flutist Pundit Hari Prasad Chaurasia. In 1997 Vibhas visited Sedona\, AZ where he met Prasado\, who became his wife and singing partner.
 It was here that he first heard the haunting sounds of the Navajo flute. Playing these traditional native flutes around the Southwest for the last seven years has brought him much praise from the local Native American population\, who are fascinated by his intimate feeling for this ancient instrument\, and the longing he expresses through it.

 Vibhas Kendzia ( http://www.musicfromthegarden.com ) performs hauntingly beautiful original melodies on Native Flutes over Latin Rhythms\, smooth Jazz on the Soprano Saxophone and romantic Piano Solos at the Keyboard.
 Graced by rich melodies and sensual rhythms\, Vibhas music explores the essence of beauty and consciousness. Vibhas has toured the US\, Europe\, and India. His music has been described as gentle\, blissful relaxation and creates an atmosphere of peace and well-being.
 Vibhas grew up in West Germany and studied piano and flute from the age of five. While receiving a degree in music education from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt\, he had the privilege to study Flute with Rolf Bissinger\, flutist for the Frankfurt Opera Orchestra\, and Piano with Matitjahu Kellig\, well known for his Mozart interpretations. Studies in Latin percussion and traditional instruments from many countries were all influential in his creation of original world music\, melting genres from East to West.
 His work and personal curiosity brought him to India where he was introduced to meditation\, and to the beautiful classical sounds of the East Indian Bansuri\, or native bamboo flute. He met and studied with world famous flutist Pundit Hari Prasad Chaurasia. In 1997 Vibhas visited Sedona\, AZ where he met Prasado\, who became his wife and singing partner.
 It was here that he first heard the haunting sounds of the Navajo flute. Playing these traditional native flutes around the Southwest for the last ten years has brought him much praise from the local Native American population\, who are fascinated by his intimate feeling for this ancient instrument\, and the longing he expresses through it.

While receiving a degree in music education from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt\, he had the privilege to study Flute with Rolf Bissinger\, flutist for the Frankfurt Opera Orchestra\, and Piano with Matitjahu Kellig\, well known for his Mozart interpretations. Studies in Latin percussion and traditional instruments from many countries were all influential in his creation of original world music\, melting genres from East to West.
 His work and personal curiosity brought him to India where he was introduced to meditation\, and to the beautiful classical sounds of the East Indian Bansuri\, or native bamboo flute. He met and studied with world famous flutist Pundit Hari Prasad Chaurasia. In 1997 Vibhas visited Sedona\, AZ where he met Prasado\, who became his wife and singing partner.
 It was here that he first heard the haunting sounds of the Navajo flute. Playing these traditional native flutes around the Southwest for the last ten years has brought him much praise from the local Native American population\, who are fascinated by his intimate feeling for this ancient instrument\, and the longing he expresses through it.
