 Laugh Match is inspired by a Korean nightclub phenomenon called “booking” where forceful waiters literally drag strangers to different tables for impromptu meet-and-greets.  After having a drink together\, the new “couples” can choose to go their separate ways\, or stick around and see how well their waiter has paired them.  Laugh Match adds a hilarious twist to the custom. After performing short routines\, professional comedians do the matchmaking instead of waiters\, with running commentary adding to the fun.  Love connections are not guaranteed but laughs certainly are in this one-of-a-kind interactive event!

 Greg is also well known from his stint as a regular panelist on Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn.  Rory\, a key part of The Daily Show for over eight years\, is also an accomplished stand-up comedian. In the summer of 2006 he joined Lewis Black's Red White and Screwed tour performing with Lewis all over the country. Most recently Rory has been seen performing with Daily Show correspondent John Oliver as well as headlining his own shows at colleges throughout the North East. He has been featured on both VH1 and Spike TV.

Whether you know Schimmel from one of his many TV appearances\, or from his recent rebirth doing comedy as a cancer survivor\, you’ll love watching him work his magic on the Comix stage.  
 
 Early in his career\, Schimmel had several buzzworthy performances at the Edinburgh Festival and the Just for Laughs Festival\, which led to editorial pieces in Billboard\, Entertainment Weekly\, and Playboy Magazine. He’s a regular on several shows\, including The Howard Stern Show and Late Night with Conan O’Brien\, on which he has appeared seven times!  He also has several Comedy Central Specials as well as an HBO special.  
 
 In 2000\, Schimmel was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He quit comedy to devote his time to battling the disease full time\, and is now in complete remission.  He spends his time now raising money for entertainment for people battling cancer\, but don’t think he’s lost his edge!  His most recent album\, Life Since Then\, and most recent book\, Cancer on $5 a Day\, show that this filthy funny man can find laughs in any situation.
