A truly extraordinary cast\, including Canadian soprano Dominique Labelle in the title role\, brings Gluck’s ravishing music to life. The cast also features tenor William Burden\, mezzo Stephanie Houtzeel\, and Canadian soprano Adria McCulloch. The New York Baroque Dance Company\, under the direction of Artistic Director Catherine Turocy\, creates the visual spectacle in this concert production with dance\, chorus and orchestra. Sung in French with English surtitles.
