FAME! HIP HOP KARAOKE NIGHT ROCKS SAN FRANCISCO -
FRIDAY, AUGUST 25 @ BOCA
The Bay Area Has a New Way to Release its Inner Biggie Smalls (or Tupac, or Mos Def, or Queen Latifah, or Busta Rhymes, or …)
San Francisco, CA, August 25, 2006: FAME, the Bay Area’s original hip-hop karaoke night, continues on Friday, August 25 at BOCA (Bar of Contemporary Art) at 414 Jessie Street, SF. The monthly party launched last month.
Created by DJ White Castle (whose NYC-based SweatBox party at Milk has already featured DJs from Neil Armstrong to Babu and Rob Swift in its first few months in SF) and hosted by Hector Preciado, FAME promises to become a Bay Area institution.
No freestyles. No open mic. Just karaoke, but with the beats and the rhymes that everyone knows and loves. And with more than 400 songs to choose from, audience participation is guaranteed.
