Enhancing Your English Course: Steps Toward Better Writing - Standard
Tuesday March 5, 2013 at 6:15am
For many students involved in TAFE and university studies, and for many people in the workplace, success depends on achieving a satisfactory standard in written English. This English course increases skills in basic written English. It services people in a wide range of occupations as well as students involved in University Preparation Courses, TAFE and tertiary education. It begins with revision of practical English grammar, sentence structure, punctuation and spelling and progresses to more complicated sentences, paragraphs, vocabulary enrichment and English for different kinds of writing, including essays and workplace communication. Practice in spoken presentations is included. There is a main focus on intensive written practice with written exercises, including detailed feedback and discussion. Details of this event may be subject to change. Please visit http://cce.sydney.edu.au/course/eebw for more information or to register.
