Come out for a spectacular evening and support World Literacy of Canada in the film and reading series Eyes On India - A Tribute to the 100th Anniversary of R. K. Narayan on November 7th. Starting at 6 pm enjoy a reception hosted at McKinsey & Co. for cocktails and Indian style hor’s d’ouerves. Special guests will pay tribute to R. K. Narayan who include Rohinton Mistry, David Davidan, Consul-General of India, Satish Mehta, and Andrew Ignatieff at 7 pm. Then relax and watch the film “Guide” by Vijay Anand in the spacious Isabel Bader Theatre at 8 pm. All proceeds support World Literacy of Canada’s literacy and community development programs in Canada and Overseas. Tickets are $75 and include a charitable tax receipt for $50.
