Joe DeVito was born in Manhattan and ran wild on the mean streets of the Bronx until the age of 18 months, when his family moved to the suburbs. Along the way, they instilled in him a love of good food and storytelling, values that have made him an emerging comic who frankly could stand to lose a few pounds.
Smart, silly and likeable, Joe performs at venues across the USA and is a regular at New York's Gotham Comedy Club. In 2006, he was a featured performer on Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham" and performed at the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. He has also written for MTV, FUSE, Stuff Magazine and the Oscar-nominated film "Super Size Me." In 2007, Joe appeared on NBC's "Last Comic Standing 5," making it all the way to the semi-finals in LA. He is currently recurring on the Fox News Channel's "Red Eye" and most recently seen on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," "Chelsea Lately," and as a panelist on Animal Planet's "Wild 100: Top 10" and "The A-List." Joe will also be seen on CNN's "Not Just Another Cable News Show" in the very near future. This is a show that is highly recommended by the powers that be.
