On September 6, the outrageous human-powered flying competition known as Red Bull Flugtag will once again soar over the Windy CIty, but this time it's touching down in the waters off North Avenue Beach. Come watch teams of daredevils attempt to take flight off a 30-foot high flight deck.

Red Bull Flugtag is a FREE event, open to all ages. Gates open at 11am, First flight at 1pm.

The last photo is especially telling, because there are mountains in the background... and there aint no mountains in Chicago.
