In this mystery/thriller by Frederick Knott., Susy Hendrix, a blind Greenwich Village housewife has become a target of three thugs searching for heroin hidden in a doll her husband transported from Canada as a favor to a woman who has been murdered. The three use threats, menace and murder to convince her to give up the doll.
