Evergreen would like to thank the community for supporting a successful year of programming at the Brick Works with our first annual harvest celebration featuring fun and educational family activities for kids of all ages.
Create sculptures from natural materials with Evergreen, the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art and local artists. Explore nature in the Brick Works quarry with tours from Evergreen and interactive, educational presentations and activities about wildlife with staff from Toronto Wildlife Centre and staff from the Toronto Zoo Adopt-A-Pond Program. Get informed on local food security issues and enjoy a documentary on community gardens around North America with FoodShare.
Indulge in food and refreshments from Merchants of Green Coffee and Hearty Catering. Stick around to enjoy live music from Brokenjoe and to get something yummy to take home from the local organic Farmers Market.
FREE pumpkins to carve and apple cider for the first 100 visitors!
FREE Hybrid Electric Shuttle from Broadview Station to the Brick Works sponsored by Azure Hybrid Citibus every half hour starting at 10:45AM until 4:45PM
