The Spring Chapter (KNOT) of the Knit at Night Guild will be holding their monthly meeting at 6:30 pm at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 26501 Border Street, Spring, TX.
The September program will be lace washcloths -- combined with a nice soap in a pretty basket, these make great Christmas gifts, and this is a perfect time of year to get started! We'll learn the very basics of lace, and start working on one pretty and easy pattern.
Materials to bring to the meeting:
Sport weight or worsted weight yarn (cotton, linen and hemp make the best finished products, even though these fibers can be a little harder to work with)
Needles to suit the yarn, or one size larger than you'd normally use
Homework before the meeting:
Cast on 44 stitches (any cast-on method) and knit 4 rows in garter stitch.
More information on the Knit at Night Guild can be found online.
