"The Rape of Lucrece" by William Shakespeare
Featuring Gerard Logan

Olivier Award nominee and Royal Shakespeare Company actor Gerard Logan brings his successful solo adaptation of William Shakespeare's brilliant, brutal narrative poem about the dreadful crime of rape and its aftershock to UC Irvine's Claire Trevor School of the Arts on Friday, April 5 at 8:00 p.m. in The Little Theatre. This performance is part of an international tour the graduate of the Royal Academy of Drama and teacher is making.

Logan's intent is to give audiences a fresh sense of the potentially hypnotic power of the spoken-word and a new, visceral impression of the greatest theatre-wizard who ever lived. This is the only UCI performance that will be open to the public.

Little Theatre / Humanities Hall
Fri., April 5 8:00 p.m.
