After movingly sublime and enthusiastically received performances of Armenian choral repertoire in June and July, Bay Area Classical Harmonies is proud to present a full program of rarely-performed Armenian classical music. Audiences will experience Sarkis Aslamazian's unparalleled arrangements for string quartet as well as choral masterpieces by Komitas, M. Yekmalian, B. Kanachian, G. Syuni, and the late S. Aghajanian. These best-kept secrets of Eastern classical music promise to be an experience music lovers will not soon forget. Directed by Artin Der Minassians, featuring soprano Beverly Nalbandian with the BACH Chorus and String Quartet.

Bay Area Classical Harmonies (BACH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the performance of fine classical music in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Founded by Andrew J. Chung in 1998, BACH has been called by some "the most versatile classical music organization in the Bay Area." BACH's impressive range of repertoire includes cantatas, symphonies and masses. BACH is a presenting organization, producing events for a varied roster of performers and ensembles, all-the-while maintaining an impressive concert season. As a presenting organization, BACH promotes a variety of programs, including a newly formed ensemble which specializes in Armenian and Iranian choral music and opera under the direction of Mr. Artin Der Minassians.
