Face-to-Face Portrait Talk on Dashiell Hammett
Thursday October 16, 2008 from 6:00pm - 6:30pm
National Portrait Gallery
8th and F Streets, NW
Washington, District of Columbia 20001 Get Directions
Historian David Ward speaks about the portrait of Dashiell Hammett by Edward Biberman.

Each Thursday evening, a staff member of the National Portrait Gallery or a special guest speaker brings visitors face-to-face with a portrait by offering an insight into one person. Visitors meet the presenter in the F Street lobby and then walk to the appropriate gallery. In the October Face-to-Face talks, learn about the “Red scare!”
