Rascal Flatts is an American Grammy Award-winning country pop trio and one of the most popular touring groups in the country. At the end of 2007, they had sold more albums than any music act - all genres - with the sales of 'Me And My Gang' and 'Feels Like Today.' They are the reigning 2007 CMA, ACM and CMT Vocal Group of the Year. To date, they have also released twenty singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts; of these, eight have reached Number One. A cover of Tom Cochrane's 'Life Is a Highway,' from the soundtrack to the 2006 film 'Cars,' also entered the country music charts from unsolicited airplay.
