The Obama campaign has endeavored to use all forms of creative energy to promote Barack, leading to the formation of “Artists for Obama.” This concept has inspired so many talented people to offer their creative energy in support of this profound cause. Local artists have joined forces to offer a day of visual & musical art, culinary delights and healing arts. Come listen to the music of Motherlode, sophisticated folk with a touch of motherhood, Kolker, Carol & Copel, a nuance of folk & blues, Dana Edelman plus and other inspiring musicians. Indulge in touching chair massage with Dan Anderson, lmt and release your energy with licensed acupuncturist, Laura Edelman. Taste and smell delights from Fresh Company and other local chefs. This is the second annual open house at Foundry Pond Studios, a live/work environment where 2 artists live with their three children, surrounded by galleries featuring their lifelong commitment to the creation of art. The Uribe’s believe art should be accessible to anyone and everyone, and embody this belief by presenting art in the comfy and cozy setting of their home. Enriching the 5 Senses is an expansion of this creative process where all forms of creative expression can unite their energy in support of this great, world defining mentor. The fundraiser is designed so all can feel comfortable giving. Entry is free, come enjoy the live music, just bring your generosity when the jar is passed. Limited Edition prints of “We the People” series will be for sale and 100% of the profit will be donated to the campaign. Give yourself the gift of healing. Enjoy a session with Dan Anderson performing massage therapy or pamper yourself with an acupuncture session with Laura Edelman. Fifteen minutes of therapeutic healing is a $15 contribution to the campaign. Plus, encourage the next generation to get involved.
