Sandra Tsing Loh is a master of modern, ironic commentary as heard in her memorable pieces for NPR programs including This American Life and Morning Edition. Her books (Aliens in America, Depth Takes a Holiday) and one-woman shows send satirical scattershot toward herself, family life in L.A. and the immigrant experience. She brings “The Loh Life” to Nashville during the Southern Festival of Books, taking questions and reading from her new book, Mother on Fire.
