Friends of African-American Art Annual Art Class Series: A New Perspective on the Hampton University Museum Collections and the John Onye Lockard Retrospective Exhibit
Vanessa Thaxton-Ward will share her extensive knowledge of the Museum’s world-famous collection of African American art, including the John Biggers and Charles White murals. A temporary exhibit of powerful works from Michigan artist John Onye Lockard will display one of America’s most important contemporary Black artists. Cost: Classes are $80 for the series or $25 per class. Open to the public.
