This event, called "8x8+1: Bending Pixels," will showcase distinctive photographers each displaying 8 works that show off their artistry with digital photography and post-processing manipulation. The event will showcase the following artists:

Rich Hollant, Jim Coon, kHyal, Sonny Parlin, Dennis Barnicle, Derek Dudek, Richard Murkland, Jessica Rosario, and Juliano Barrotti.

The night's activities will include:

* Guest participation in our art! Through an interactive portrait session with artist Rich Hollant, guests become a part of the exhibit as photos are taken and uploaded to our looping slide show
* Silent auction with 8 pieces from each artist
* The incredible musical talents of electronic violinist Ben Dean -- watch Ben created music right before your ears!
* All ticket proceeds, 50% of sales and all winning silent auction bids will benefit the Greater Hartford Arts Council.
* Wine and fabulous food
