Nashville singer/songwriter and Chattanooga native Mark Kelly Hall will perform a free concert in celebration of family heritage, both earthly and spiritual, on Saturday, October 18 at Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Whitwell. Special guest Elizabeth Hall of Cleveland will also perform. The concert will feature both contemporary and traditional music and will begin at 7 pm CST. The church is located on Griffith Highway (TN 27) just south of Ketner's Mill.

Workers and exhibitors for the Ketner’s Mill Country Arts Fair are invited to a soup supper provided by the church at 5:30.

The event was prompted by Hall's recent discovery of his family connections to the early American settlers of the Sequatchie Valley and their descendants. These include Alexander Kelly, Col. James Raulston and J.G. Lankester. Local genealogy enthusiasts are encouraged to arrive early and/or stay late to share info, pictures and stories.
