Suor Angelica tells the tragic story of a woman struggling to make peace with her past seven years after she is sent to a convent by her wealthy family.
Gianni Schicchi is the comedic tale of the greedy Donati family who convince a local schemer to impersonate their recently deceased patriarch and rewrite his will.
The opera features the famous and recognizable aria “O Mio Babbino Caro.”
There will be a pre-show lecture at 7:00 before the Friday night show.
