Successful beyond all expectations in its debut year, the Portland Jazz Festival returns this month to celebrate jazz music with more than 75 live performances and events in various intimate spaces & venues in downtown Portland.

The second annual Portland Jazz Festival has grown in number of shows, artistic creativity and educational opportunities for the public. Whether you are a jazz aficionado or curious music fan PDX Jazz has something for you!

Within one square mile of downtown Portland, you'll see 3-time Grammy Award-winning jazz vocalist, Dianne Reeves, plus three of the greatest jazz bassists of our time Charlie Haden, Dave Holland, John Patitucci, and the future of jazz, with young and emerging artists; The Bad Plus, Patricia Barber, Danilo Perez, Joe Locke & 4 Walls of Freedom, and Brazilian singer Luciana Souza? plus the excitement of the North American premiere of Andy Narell & Calypsociation, a 13-piece steel drum orchestra.
