Palace of Fine Arts
3301 Lyon St
San Francisco, California 94123 Get Directions
Simcha is a magical story about a Jewish family’s travel from a small village (shtetl) to America. A humorous, touching, and mesmerizing tale creating a moment when everything is forgotten and wonderment is shared.
Simcha is a tapestry of the stories by Sholom Aleichem which embrace and connect through their inspiration. Fiery dances to uplifting Jewish melodies will entertain you throughout the performance. The cast and audience will relive the events together in this captivating show. Don’t get surprised if you recognize yourself in one of the many colorful characters of the story.
A portion of all proceeds from “Simcha” will be donated to the Ben Yakir Youth Village in Israel. The Ben Yakir Village is a charity organization in Israel that helps at-risk youth and enriches their lives.

Have to share my feedback on this show. A must see show for the family, my kids not just watched the show, but their attention was glued to it! The costumes and music are taking you beyond the words, you have to see it for your self. To watch kids dance with such a passion and enthusiasm on stage, and I am talking about 6-10 year old are unbelievable. This show brought forgotten memories of my grandparents generation. A great show!
