In this special exhibit, visitors can admire some of the most extraordinary navigational instruments. A 1616 Mariner's astrolabe recovered from the wreck of a Spanish treasure ship, an array of octants and sextants, and a group of precision chronometers from the 19th and 20th centuries show some of the technologies that have steered ships over the centuries.
