The world was afire with excitement when archaeologist Howard Carter discovered King Tuts tomb in 1922. This has been the greatest archaeological find in Egypt. In the years that followed Carter's discovery, Tut Mania swept the world, influencing art, fashion, architecture and cinema. Today his treasures are imperiled by modern civilization. Join Egyptologist Mae Araujo, ARCE* New Mexico chapter president, on a voyage to unveil the life and death of the boy king. This video and lecture presentation will cover the main events that made King Tut one the worlds best known figures.
