For someone coming from the USA... how far is York from London? Is it easy to get to?
Posted 1 year ago
York is roughly 220 miles from London, you can get there by train in a bit over 2 hours or drive North on the M1 Motorway. It's qute easy to get to.

George-of-the-Flickreenos: can't you come a day early?
Posted 1 year ago
If you come a day early George, you can get a direct train London King's Cross to York with minimal stops, I think travel time is a little under two hours.

It was a great day! I live not too far from York but the scavenger hunt made me see it in a new light! And I got to meet patchworkgandalf!! and lots of others too.

Thanks to all who attended, and the people of York for playing host to our shenanigans.
