Liberation of the Urban Tribesman explores the personal journey of choreographer and dancer Garner Harris. Drawing on movement from many forms of dance from break dancing to ballet, the most influential element in this piece is the Yogic philosophy, which inspired its creation.

As part of the programme Hands and Feet CIC, a new creative project delivery company, will show a film called Jump up to the Carnival. The film is a short documentary about the work the company has been doing in the region and how that work has ultimately affected the direction and purpose of the company.

The event will close with an open workshop in Afro Caribbean hand drumming and circus skills and the workshop promises to be both educational and fun.
