Simeon Taylor and Jayar Moten, well known poets in the Kansas City area have provided the city with one of the most exclusive poetry nights in the city. Not only is there a chance to participate in an open mic, but also a chance to win $100 and enjoy a fine organic buffet from the award winning Harper's on 18th Vine. Good music, fine food and beautiful spokenword poetry every first Sunday of the month.

The show starts at 7pm and ends at 10pm.
Open to all ages
Tickets are $10 at the door and $20 to register to compete in the poetry contest. Space is limited so be sure to be there at 7pm for the best seats in the house.
