show about a half boy/half bat creature who is discovered in a cave
near Cape falls, West Virginia sends up not only tabloid news but the
musical theatre itself. This sci-fi farce was a 2001 off-Broadway hit,
winning the Lucille Lortel and Outer Critics Circle Awards with its mix
of clever lyrics, musical styles and satire.
