Holidays At Hennessy's Hooley House!
Monday December 15, 2008 from 6:00pm - 11:00pm
Hennessey's Upstairs
25 Union Street
boston, Massachusetts 02113 Get Directions
UPDATE: One of our planners, Christine Perkett, has just upped the ante on donations! If you find her, meet her and give her your name, she will add a $1 to the fund. That is a $1 for each person she meets there, folks, so seek out @missusp! ~ Leslie

Meanwhile, we have a venue and friends and the holidays are right around the corner, so with Jen's blessing, we're just making this a Holiday Party! Won't you join us to get into the Holiday Spirit and cast your cares away for the evening?

WE WILL BE PUSHING TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE STALEY FOUNDATION (@stales) FOR THE HOLIDAYS! WON'T YOU DO YOUR PART TO HELP FIGHT CANCER THIS SEASON?

MAKE OUR DONATION ONLINE HERE: http://uptownuncorked.com/staley/

Donations are appreciated, but not required. This is a free event.

If you want to help plan or sponsor, contact Leslie Poston (@geechee_girl), Christine Perkett (@missusp), Lisa Dilg (@pprlisa) or Christine Major (@cmajor).

Posted 33 weeks ago
REALLY I CANNOT WAIT TO MEET HER! Er, yeah. I can't wait to meet everyone I haven't yet met / see everyone I haven't seen in a while!
Posted 33 weeks ago
Coming down from NH to welcome Jen!
Posted 33 weeks ago
There really is a Santa Claus! OK. I have no idea who Jen is, but the luminaries on this list make it clear that this event is not to be missed. And what better way to breathe a little before being mauled by relatives and consumers this season than by spending some quality time with the fine tweeple of Boston? I'm in.

Posted 31 weeks ago
Hi friends - I fear I will not be coming to Boston after all due to a health issue. I am flattered and sad at the same time that so many of you were willing to come out (I know not all of you were coming for me!). I will make it out there after the first of the year and hope to meet you all then. Enjoy the party!
Posted 31 weeks ago
No worries, please feel better. We will just have this be "Holidays at Hennessy's Hooley House" instead and will drink in your honor to your health :)

So sad we won't be able to meet you in person Jennifer! Please rest and enjoy your holidays. I still expect to see everyone else there to celebrate the holidays with us and help support @stales and the fight against cancer. Donations are not required to come - the event is free, but they are appreciated!

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Posted 30 weeks ago
You better be there, Jonathan :) Parties without the booming voice of good cheer are just not parties at all ;)
Posted 30 weeks ago
I have no idea who any of you are, or what this really is. BUT, I love a party, so I will bring a check book and get ready to party.
Posted 30 weeks ago
I'll be there.

Posted 29 weeks ago

This ought to be an interesting evening. From the San Jose Merc: Tonight's full moon, nearly as close as it ever comes to Earth in its orbit, will loom especially large — 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than other full moons this year. In fact, "this evening's moon is not only the largest for 2008 but also during the period 1993-2016," said astrophotographer Anthony Ayiomamitis.
Posted 29 weeks ago
Oh my! and yes, thirded - totally need a drink :) lol
Posted 29 weeks ago
I am sad that I couldn't make it tonight so I bought a round of drinks for you all! See @geechee_girl for tickets!
