Clerestory, the exciting Bay Area male a cappella ensemble, will help usher in the Christmas season with “Ceremony of Carols”, a concert of seasonal music by Britten, Distler and Poulenc, along with selected carols. San Francisco Classical Voice has called the ensemble “quite simply one of the highest-caliber singing groups in the Bay Area”. Benjamin Britten’s “A Ceremony of Carols”, featuring San Francisco Symphony principal harpist Douglas Rioth, will anchor the program along with selections from Hugo Distler’s “ Die Weihnachtsgeschichte” and Francis Poulenc’s “Un Soire de Neige”.
