7th Annual Rockets Run 2009 presented by United Healthcare benefiting the United Healthcare Children's Foundation.

In its seventh year, the Rockets Run 2009 is a great way for Houstonians to have some fun with friends, while staying fit. Rockets fans can choose to compete in the 5K run or the slower paced 2-mile walk.

New this year we have added Kids 1K! This will involve the entire family! This unique race begins at Toyota Center, takes racers through several blocks of midtown Houston, and finishes on the Rockets center court. (Except for the Kids 1K) Participants can enjoy food and refreshments at the official post-race party located outside at a street party next to Toyota Center. The top 50 male and female 5K runners will receive awards at the party.

1K Kids run starts at 7:30am
5K race starts at 8:00am
2 mile walk starts at 8:20am
