The iPhone gaming market has taken off in a way that few anticipated. There now are more than 1,500 iPhone games available from the App Store. One of the more popular games is Fieldrunners.

Fieldrunners has been a top ten paid application in the iPhone App Store and has over 2,000 reviews. It has been hailed by Curt Schilling as "fun as hell new app."

Fieldrunners is developed by Portland-based Subatomic Studios. Sergei Gourski, Subatomic Studios CEO, will talk about the Fieldrunners application, its development and design decisions they made working on the iPhone platform.

Sergei Gourski has worked in the video game industry for over seven years. Before working at Subatomic Studios, he worked on many well known games including Rock Band 2, Codemaster's Damnation, Empire Earth III, Rise & Fall: Civilizations at War, Star Trek Legacy, and Empires: Dawn of the Modern World. He wears many hats at Subatomic Studios where his primarily role as an artist and design has expanded to include CEO, HR and marketing.
