The Domestication of Women: A Housewares Party in Two Acts
by Jackie Ruggiero Jacobson
directed by Jose Aviles

Elaine’s husband is gone, and with him her illusion that the right window treatments could cure him of his philandering and save their marriage. Delirious, she finds herself fleeing to her friend Julie’s housewares party for a taste of normalcy. She soon learns that normalcy and sanity don’t go hand in hand, as five frazzled, desperate and sexually repressed women will stop at nothing to get their hands on the item of the week destined to change the course of their unrealized lives. A comedy of unusual heights that celebrates the fighting spirit of women trapped in consumer hell.

Join Julie in her living room, with Elaine, Cassandra, Vicky and Lisa, as they dodge the truth with fine collectibles and leave a path of destruction in their wake.
