The programs consists of evening lectures, rock and snow field sessions, plus conditioning hikes near the Portland area. No climbing experience or membership required.

The Mazamas is a mountaineering and outdoor organization with a proud tradition of leadership, climbing education, safety and conservation in the Pacific Northwest. Our instructors are experienced volunteer members.
