It's been quite awhile since we've met to talk about the state of Coworking in the Columbus area. (And there's some progress and news to share!) Come to this information session at the still-in-progress Corkboard coworking space to see and contribute to plans for the space.
Corkboard is being planned for a Spring 2009 opening. It will be a community-driven coworking space with space for 10-12 full time anchor members as well as options for part-time membership and corporate sponsorship as well.
We'll share some of the vision for Corkboard at this event, and we've also invited Tina Goodman & Dave Hunegnaw to share details about their planned space in the Short North.
This same week (on January 15th) the newly-formed Columbus Jelly chapter will be meeting as well, so it would certainly be most appropriate to bring questions or ideas for Jelly to this event as well. We'll spend a bare minimum of time actually in the space, and then take things over to Tip-Top for drinks & food and continue the conversation.
Directions and Parking
It couldn't be easier to get to Corkboard! From most locations in Columbus, the best thing to do is take 670 toward downtown, and get off on the 3d Street (Southbound) exit. Take a right on Long Street and we're right there on the left. (Just past Budget car rental.) Street parking is free and unrestricted after 6pm, so that's your best bet.
See you there...
