Yorkshire Forward and Screen Yorkshire invite you to join them with Tom Loosemore, Head of 4iP at Channel 4 to celebrate the launch of the 4iP Fund in Yorkshire on the evening of Wednesday 4th February.
Announced as part of Channel 4’s Next on 4 strategic blueprint, 4iP is a major new initiative to encourage innovation on digital platforms, which aims to re-invent public service media for the digital age. Taking creative risks, nurturing new talent, championing fresh perspectives and offering new ways of looking at the world are at the core of Channel 4’s vision, and 4iP aims to extend these objectives to new platforms. Channel 4 in partnership with Yorkshire Forward will be investing up to £10m in content and services in the region which will help to deliver their public purposes on new platforms, in news ways, for new audience. This event is for companies, individuals, stakeholders, investors - anyone working in digital content development or with the digital media sector in the region who is interested in engaging with 4iP.
