"Even continue their annual Christmas show tradition, this year moving to the Corner for a Christmas Eve extravaganza featuring handpicked quality supports; Dan Sultan, Gun Street Girls (Dave Larkins new band) and the Fearless Vampire Killers! 2008 has been an Even year, with Melbourne’s favourite sons releasing their first LP in three years to outstanding reviews and an international deal with Forte in the UK. The band was also invited to play the All Tomorrows Parties festival in the UK as well as touring with the likes of Paul Weller and the New Pornographers. The band also slayed audiences at Splendour In The Grass and were honoured by the Age EG for having the #36 ‘Greatest Ever Australian Rock n Roll record (Less Is More)."
