Consultant surgeon Mr Simon Toh and Consultant Gastroenterologist Dr Hamish Duncan who both specialise in weight loss surgery, together with specialist weight loss dietician Dr Denise Thomas will be giving informal presentations on: The benefits and drawbacks of weight loss (obesity) surgery, Suitability for surgery, Gastric banding, Gastric ballooning, Success rates, Support given before, during and after surgery. There will be an opportunity to meet the consultants and ask questions and a specialist weight-loss nurse will also be available for a one-to-one discussion.
