Exhibition: This is/not a Room Full of Peanuts
Thursday February 1, 2007 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm

619 Western Ave
Seattle, Washington 98104 Get Directions
Seattle, February 1, 2007 - The Artists Reformation Project is pleased to present Caleb Larsen and Brett Walker's new collaborative installation, This is/not a Room Full of Peanuts. The two Seattle artists will be creating a work centered around and the age-old question of "physical reality." Employing tongue-in-cheek metaphors, the artists will transform the gallery space into an active work of art, directly engaging the viewers both in terms of the function of art and in terms of the metaphysical debate.

Caleb Larsen is a Seattle-based new media and installation artist. Larsen holds his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Western Michigan University. He has exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Detroit, Canada, Greece and Romania. He has attended the Yale Norfolk Summer School of Art, the School of Visual Art Artist Residency, and the I-Park Artist Residency in Connecticut.

Interdisciplinary Seattle artist Brett Walker received his Bachelor of Fine Art from the Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine. His work aims to reconstruct and contextualize commonly-held truths and contemporary beliefs regarding etiquette, societal values, and daily practices. Walker has exhibited his work widely, in film screenings and in exhibitions across the country.

The ARP is located at 619 Western Avenue, 3rd Floor. A reception will be held Thursday, February 1st from 7-9:30pm.
