This Friday the EchoVerse presents the annual Hotter Than July Slam & Jam. Featuring the award-winning "All Kinds Of Poetry" Open Mic, special showcase performances, and a $200.00 Poetry Slam & Title. An official event of the 14th Hotter Than July black same-gender-loving pride celebration in Detroit. This Friday the EchoVerse celebrates people, poetry and music that reverberates good vibes of inclusion, equality and culture in our community. Hosted by Johnny Jenkins Jr. with DJ Andre Royster providing deep house, soul and hip-hop.
