For our first lecture of the year, Phoenix Objectivists will be joined by author Jim Peron who will give his speech: "The Day Ayn Rand Died".

Jims lecture is a moving account of the day Ayn Rand died and of her funeral and is a lecture different from his published article of the same name.

Jim Peron delivered this speech at the World Freedom Summit in Germany in 2006 and has kindly agreed to deliver this lecture to our group.

Jim Peron is on staff with the International Society for Individual Liberty, is President of Laissez Faire Books and is an author of many books such as "Exploding Population Myths", "Hating Speech", "Die, the Beloved Country?", "Zimbabwe: Death of a Dream", "Apartheid, Affirmative Action and Capitalism".
