Public Media Collaborative is a brand new group, and this is the first public meeting. We're technologists, social media folks, activists, community organizers, journalists and others who care about the Bay area and want to connect.
Our Mission: Education, action, community: Use media & technology to build democracy and educate and empower local and virtual communities.
This is our first monthly meeting and we want to have a core group of passionate connectors from different disciplines and communities across the Bay area who'd like to talk about positive social change using tech tools and then organize some projects to help make that happen.
