27th annual Hunt Midwest Groundhog Run

The 27th Groundhog Run is a one-of-a-kind 5k/10k race through the tunnels of Hunt Midwest SubTropolis. All proceeds stay in Kansas City and benefit Children's TLC, providing preschool education and therapy services to more than 500 children with disabilities throughout the greater metro area. Children's TLC has been providing services to Kansas City's children with disabilities since 1947.The 5k race starts at 9:00am and the 10k race starts at 10:00am. Want to run? This is a great event! For all you runners (or those just starting a New Year's resolution), it's a lot of fun. Where else can you run an entire race underground AND benefit children at the same time? It's a Kansas City running tradition. Pretty cool! Sign up to run!

I ran the 5k race today. My very first race. It was great! I will be doing this again next year and also looking for other races in town to run.
