Explore the dance forms associated with hip-hop culture in a lecture/demonstration by the legendary Jorge “PopMaster Fabel” Pabon, Senior V.P. of the Rock Steady Crew. He will trace the history, evolution, and social relevance of these exciting forms of movement and explore how they are linking youth worldwide. The program features special guest Jeskilz of the Rock Steady Crew who will demonstrate B-Girl-Breaking. Presented in conjunction with Black Style Now and the Museum of the City of New York’s Uptown Sounds music series.
